A big night in the Northern District last night as the Weston Street United Lodge No 94 conducted a triple initiation supported by a large number of brethren at the Brunswick Masonic Centre.

Our State President Brother Jack Aquilina led the night as Junior Deacon, conducting the candidates through the ceremony in what was a special night for all. After their initiation our new brethren and several attending prospective members had the privilege of witnesses a very moving 50 year jewel presentation to RWBro Ray Porter, followed by a very jovial south.

Northern District President Bro Steve Austin and Freemasons Victoria District Coordinator WBro Eric Williams presented the candidates with welcome packs from the Blue Lounge and the lodge emphasizing the real bonds of fraternity that make the craft special.

The night also was a chance for the reuniting of old friends with WBro Mike Rich of the Brunswick United Lodge 924 paying a visit to share a 40 year old Masonic port with WBro Les Brown who he initiated into Freemasonry as Master many years ago.

We had a fantastic night at our official visit to the Admiral Collingwood Lodge No.13. along side the @lodge of the Lodge of the Golden Fleece No. 300 UGLV and Whittlesea Lodge to support a double passing and our inspirational friend Worshipful Brother David Foong who is Master.

Along side 67 brethren, many of which we’re young or new Freemasons, we had the opportunity to enjoy the very best of what Freemasonry had to offer in terms of the warmth, fraternal fun and conversation that makes Freemasons Victoria so great.

Congratulations to WBro David and his endures team for their impressive performance and for what was a memorable night for all of us!

Also, Happy Chinese New Year!
